Helmut Federleicht (b. 1944)
Basics on Composition, 1992
I am still resisting idea of deliberately shaping a coherent oeuvre as being too commercial and too boring a strategy. Yet, when I watch variations on a theme by Federleicht, I truly appreciate them. And I do have a painting project ongoing where series of paintings is accumulating, all done using the same core idea. Several of my sound pieces, in particular involving Artificial Ignorance Choir, are also serial in the same sense.
