Hammer on Rock #1, 1982

Hammer on the rock suggests one kind of sound, but installation is playing a soundtrack of running water and Japanese gong. I have not experienced the work IRL, so I am going by description only, yet on this conceptual level it matches some of my works in progress, intended to combine contradictory visual and sonic elements.
