Metaphors For Things, 2020

I am still lacking words to discuss sound. “Metaphors For Things” has been brought up in comparison to the visual component of my “Too Little Too Much”, while I can hear in it connections to my “24 hours of now”.

However, I have no obvious way to connect the sound with the program statement presented on various album distribution sites: “The album aims to express the negative conflicts and diseases often seen in people and modern society, capturing thoughts, emotions and feelings that can generate internal conflicts, anxieties and fears”. Should I try to think negative thoughts and experience negative emotions in order to make the most of the piece? Or is it just a way for the artist to share their concerns that cannot be articulated through sound? Or is it a form of “consumer guidance” for the listeners so they know what they can expect before they actually decide to listen to it?.. Or?..
