The Story of Canvas #1, 2017

I keep considering a variety of possible usages for the paint residue on my pallet. Lee’s works are pertinent to that line of consideration. She has tested so many interesting ideas – from re-applying twisted scrapes of acrylic to canvas to repositioning paint, canvas and frame in all new relationships to each other. It may seem, that if I keep accumulating predecessors to this kind of experimentation, I might not need to make any work myself. Which, on another hand, might only be for everybody’s benefit.
