This piece has some affinity to the previous post on Ryman. Yet, I would perhaps describe its pertinence to my work from slightly different perspective.

Untitled no.4 could come across as very understated, boring even. Yet I do appreciate the fine shifts, the discreet grid, the boldness of not trying too hard. Some of my pieces – like video piece Happening #001 – is also very simple, very understated, but there is some understated articulation to it. I fear that many may find it just too boring, but I rather like it…
