The audience member is provided with a device playing cricket sounds and invited to take a walk in the city – mimicking an ancient Chinese trend where crickets were used as sonic company.

This relates to my project “Territorial Sounding” where I explore how sounds are claiming territories – in soundscapes, in mindscapes, in cityscapes…
