As I am playing around a bit with superfiction, multiple identities, invented words and colours as well as institutional critique this “complete list of invented artists” is definitely resonating well with me.

I find it particularly interesting that Reuterswärd tries to fill a gap of creativity not with new ideas, media or works, but with fictional artists, suggesting artist as a guaranteed seat of creativity and invention… feeds well into my questioning of excessive focus on the artist when engaging with an artwork.
