Müller’s large scale (300×260 cm) photographic prints represent… yeah… what do they represent?.. and in what sense are the photographic?.. They are based on unexposed photographic material – photo film developed in darkness without any exposure. Is there photography without exposure? Does it represent anything beyond presenting itself? Well, it is not the film itself, it is a print…

I love these conceptual musings.

In my practice it vaguely relates to a few strands of conceptual works – photo series “Colour photograph” where I was aiming to photograph colours by means of unfocused lens and the dotted painting where I am curious what readings and connotations may arise from an abstract work whose formal properties have rather random origin.
