As it turns out, one can make ‘proper art’ on canvas boards – if one’s got plenty of them (I thought they were just for kids like me)… And it is an obsessive kind of cool to keep numbering them, especially if you end up passing no. 100,000…

And I do like some of his imagery, too – the more abstract/ornamental, the better…

Gives me some thoughts of how big art can be built up of small artsy bricks…
